Globacom has launched a new brand campaign titled “Never Settle For Less,” rolling out four product updates including an AI-powered customer service assistant that supports six languages, upgraded data bonuses and a revamped self-service app.

The announcement, published as a Brand Press item on Techpoint Africa, ties the campaign to Globacom’s 23rd anniversary and frames it as a strategic repositioning for the operator’s next growth phase.

The four offerings named in the campaign are the Glo New Welcome Bonus, Talkmasta Reloaded, Magic Data Bundles and a rebuilt Glo Café App, according to Globacom’s social media posts cited in the research brief. The operator described the slogan as “a call for Nigerians to always demand the best in the pursuit of their goals,” as reported by AllAfrica.

The flagship addition is Gloria, an AI-powered voice and text assistant integrated into the Glo Café app. Globacom called it “the most significant attraction of the new App” and “another first by Globacom in Nigeria,” according to ThisDay. Gloria is designed to answer customer queries, identify suitable offers and provide instant responses to common issues, with the goal of reducing wait times and offering 24/7 support.

Gloria supports English, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, French and Spanish — a notable departure from the mostly English-only chatbot deployments common in the Nigerian market. “Gloria, an AI-powered Voice & Text Assistant, assists with queries and finds the best offers in seconds. It is available in English, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, French and Spanish languages,” Globacom said in the ThisDay report.

The Talkmasta Reloaded tariff has been upgraded under the campaign. The “6 for 6” plan now offers six free minutes plus 100MB of free data for every six minutes of call time, a 50MB increase from the previous 50MB bonus, as reported by ThisDay and AllAfrica. New customers are placed on the plan by default when they register a Glo line, while existing customers can migrate by dialling *606#.

The Glo Café 3.0 app is described as a self-service platform with a youthful interface, enhanced security features and expanded payment options. First-time users are reported to receive free 100GB data, a 100 percent bonus on every recharge, and offers such as 10GB for ₦2,500 plus 10 percent extra data on bundles purchased through the app, according to BusinessDay. Magic Data Bundles include short-validity, high-volume packages, some exclusive to Glo Café, with examples like 1GB for ₦200 and 15GB for ₦2,000 depending on validity.

Globacom’s launch was also covered in video reports of its 23rd anniversary celebrations, where executives framed the campaign as a new brand identity and growth chapter centred on AI, richer data offers and app-based self-service. The operator’s corporate name is Globacom Limited, commonly branded as Glo, and it positions itself as Nigeria’s second-largest mobile network by subscriber base.

The announcement sits inside a broader shift across African telecoms toward AI-driven customer support and app-centric service. There is no formal regulatory circular tied to the launch; the products are commercial offerings operating under existing telecom regulations.
