Inspire Live(s): Free Live Online Classes for Every Nigerian Student Begin This Week

If you have a child, younger sibling, or cousin preparing for WAEC, NECO, or JAMB, clear your calendar this weekend because Nigeria’s biggest free virtual school just went live.
Today, the Federal Ministry of Education officially unveiled Inspire Live(s), a real-time online learning platform that beams live, interactive classes directly to students across the 36 states and FCT, completely free of charge.
What Exactly Is Inspire Live(s)?
Think of it as Nigeria’s national Zoom classroom:
Live lessons Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
Covers core JSS 1–3 and SSS 1–3 subjects (Maths, English, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Government, CRS/IRS, etc.)
Taught by vetted, experienced Nigerian teachers in real time
Interactive whiteboard, polls, chat, breakout rooms just like physical school
Recorded sessions are available 24/7 for revision
Designed for phones, tablets, and laptops — works on 2G/3G/4G
The goal? Reach the 20 million+ learners affected by teacher shortages, insecurity, strikes, or plain distance — especially in rural and underserved communities.
