Laundry Deck Turns Laundry into a Click-and-Collect Service

After five years in the industry, three brothers decided to change that by launching Laundry Deck, a platform that connects customers, laundromats, and logistics in one simple app.

Their idea came from personal struggles. Customers often failed to pick up clothes. Laundry Deck was designed to solve these issues for both users and businesses. For customers, it guarantees convenience and peace of mind. Only laundromats with proper equipment; washing machines, dryers, and steam irons, are approved. Logistics are handled within the system, ensuring clothes are picked up and delivered safely. A loyalty program also rewards customers with points that can be converted into credit for future services.

The platform simplifies management for laundromat owners. Orders, payouts, receipts, and performance data are all tracked in the app. This saves businesses from struggling with operations while also bringing in new customers. Logistics riders benefit, too, with Laundry Deck creating steady job opportunities and earnings tied directly to completed deliveries.

The platform sets itself apart by combining everything into one ecosystem: order management, delivery tracking, loyalty rewards, and strict quality control. It monetises through commissions on orders, customer delivery fees, and subscription plans for laundromats that want more visibility and features.

So far, more than 12 laundromats have joined the platform, though customer adoption is still in its early stages. The logistics feature is being rolled out carefully to control costs, while plans are underway to raise funding for expansion. In the next three to five years, the brothers aim to grow Laundry Deck into a national player and eventually expand across Africa, giving both customers and small laundry businesses better access and opportunities.
