Applications are now open for the second cohort of the Bosun Tijani Foundation Gen AI Fellowship, a six-month in-person program based in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The fellowship is run in partnership with the Ogun State Government and targets young Nigerians interested in generative AI. It follows the first cohort of over 80 fellows that completed training in 2025.
Program Structure and Benefits
The program is a full-time, in-person training initiative held at an ICT Park in Abeokuta. Participants receive hands-on learning, mentorship, and practical experience in generative AI, with a focus on building solutions for real-world challenges. The 2025 cohort materials described the program as fully funded and included a ₦50,000 monthly stipend, certification, and pathways to internships, jobs, and startup support.
Eligibility requires applicants to be aged 18 or older, available to attend training five days a week in Abeokuta for the full six months, and demonstrate curiosity about AI along with a commitment to developing practical solutions.
